Swimming with DolphinsSwimming with Dolphins - Azores

We offer unique holidays swimming with wild dolphins in the Azores.

Join us on these exciting and memorable holidays. You can choose accommodation to suit your preference and we take care of all practical details, so you can just relax and enjoy this unique experience!

Our own experienced guides and marine biologists have specialist knowledge of the dolphins and whales of The Azores. We have been running swimming with dolphins Azores programmes for over 14 years following a unique ethical code of conduct. You will have many opportunities to see whales on the swim with dolphins program.

The dolphins are present throughout the year, with late July and August being the busiest time and best sea conditions. April to early July and September to October are still great times to visit, with cheaper holiday prices.

Whale Watching Holidays - Azores

We also offer whale watching holidays. These take place from April to October 2012 . The Azores is one of the best locations worldwide to see several species of whale : Sperm whales, Blue Whales, Fin whales and many more. You will also see the large pods of dolphins riding in the bow wave of the boat.

Whale Watching May and June is the time for the annual migrations of the big whales (fin, sei and blue whale). Also you can be fairly sure of sightings of sperm whales and many species of dolphin (Bottlenose, Atlantic Spotted, Striped, Risso's and Common) whenever you visit as these species are regularly encountered throughout the summer. As with our Dolphin Swimming holidays, late July and August tend to be busiest, with the shoulder season being quieter and cheaper, but still with reliable sightings of whales and dolphins. President Obama against Iceland's whaling

Thank you Mr President.

After more than a quarter of a million protests were sent by supporters of WDCS . President Obama issued a strongly worded statement that fires a warning shot across Iceland’s bows if its fin whaling does not stop for good.

Although the President did not go as far as we had hoped by imposing trade sanctions on Iceland, he directed his administration to review its diplomatic relationship with Iceland, potentially including cancelling meetings with Icelandic officials and withdrawing funding for joint projects in the Arctic.

Iceland did not undertake any fin whaling this summer, blaming reduced markets in Japan following the tsunami in March, but it has given no indication that it intends to sop killing endangered fin whales.

If Iceland resumes fin whaling, President Obama has sought an immediate report from his officials. suggesting that the door remains open for punitive economic measures against Iceland by the US in the future.
